DOWNLOADING VIDEOS FROM METACAFE (ONLINE)

Every Internet user at some point has downloaded videos from Youtube. Downloading from youtube is very easy as many sites are dedicated for downloading videos from Youtube but many users have difficulty downloading videos from other  popular video streaming sites like Metacafe. Here i am providing a method to quickly downlaod videos from Metacafe online.

STEP 1) Go to the Metacafe video which you want to download and copy its URL.

STEP 2) Go to the site www.ClipNabber.com and paste the URL of the video in the box provided and click "Nab!".

STEP 3) After processing a download button will appear providing you with the options of format in which the video is avialble. Click on it and the download will start right away ( If you have Quicktime plugin installed in your browser the video instead of being downloaded will start playing in quick time in a new browser window, if so, what you can do is either disable the plugin or just save the page where the video is being played.

NOTE:- I know there are many softwares out there which can do the same work but i myself prefer to download the videos online. Not any particular reason, i just don't want to crowd my pc with unnecessary applications.
