DOWNLOADING FILES USING TORRENT

Torrents have revolutionized the online world. File sharing has never been this easy and fast. Torrents show the web's true spirit of sharing information. But many of us don't know how to download files using torrent client and sites and so they are left out of all the fun. So here is a quick tutorial for the people with no prior exposure to torrents, it shows how the torrent client and torrent sites can be used to download files.

Step 1) First you need to download a torrent client. They are softwares which help connect to and download files from seeders who are sharing the files. It needs the torrent file from the bittorrent
site which aggregate this torrent files in one place.

UTORRENT- DOWNLOAD

BITORRENT- DOWNLOAD

Both are good you can chose whichever you want and install it.

Step 2) Go to any torrent sites.
my favourite are piratebay and isohunt or you can just search on google - type the name of the file you want and just add "torrent" after the files name.
on the website you will find a tab named "download the torrent" or "download the torrent
file"click on it and download the torrent file

Step 3 ) Open the file in your torrent client. and click "ok". The downloading will start after the client makes connections with the seeders.
After the downloading is complete either you can keep seeding or just remove it from the network by right-clicking and selecting "Remove".

NOTE :-
1> Always chose torrents with maximum numbers of seeds which are indicated on the site more the seeds more is the downloading speed.
2> Always read the comments posted by other downloaders. you can get very important information about the file's authenticity which you want to download.

The internet speed is usually represented in Kbps(kilo-bits) and downloading speed is represented in your general KBps(kilo-byte). Now 1byte = 8bits. Therefore 100Kbps(internet speed) ~ 12.5 KBps(downloading speed).
