DOWNLOAD YOUTUBE VIDEOS ONLINE ( Using www.keepvid.com )

Usually i would have not written this post, because of my naive belief that all Internet users knew how to download YouTube videos, but i recently came to know that this belief of mine was wrong. I noticed that many of my Friends and classmate had no idea about downloading YouTube videos or many of them had bad experience when they tried to find the method and were given nothing but spam sites or useless softwares. So i thought of writing this post to tell how i download videos from YouTube. There are lots of websites which help you to download YouTube videos online but my favourite is www.keepvid.com. The main reason of my liking it is that it is very basic, easy to use and nearly free from advertisements and flashy graphics which i really hate.
For using keepvid you need java platform installed if you don't have it here is the link to download it. JAVA
Now you are ready to download YouTube videos. Here is the method

1) Copy the URL of the video you want to download from YouTube.
2) Go to www.keepvid.com, paste the URL in the box provided and click download
3) A box will appear asking permission to run the java application, allow it. Then links will appear providing you the option to download the video in the format which you like.

Note:- There are many software and online services for downloading YouTube videos, many may be even better then keepvid but i from the beginning have used keepvid and am very happy with it and so thought about writing about it.
