QUICKLY LOCKING THE COMPUTER SCREEN

Today life has become very busy and hectic and in this rush people always make silly mistakes for which they later have to face many problems and criticism. One of such mistake is to leave the computer screen "on" while you are gone somewhere else. This may be not a huge problem for home users but in offices this can lead to severe problems, like

• Some person having a grudge on you may try to misuse your computer.
• Some important documents or some classified contents on the computer can robbed. 
• Somebody may install backdoors or trojans on the computer bypassing the anti-virus and use this privileges to later do some bigger harm.

Now this things can be easily stopped from happening by taking some very easy precautions. Here are some ways you can avoid the above thing from happening.

1) The easiest and basic thing you can do is "off" the monitor while leaving it, so it does not attract attention of anybody and give them free invitation to mess with it.

2) You can keep the computer on stand-by mode by either selecting from the start menu or quickly selecting it by using shortcut i.e."windows button + L" so it will ask you a password if you have set a login password. Without the password it won't allow you to enter the account.

3) The best thing you can do is use a screen locker software. Some of them provide you a lot of unique features which can very helpful. Here is one such software.
